Weekends

Well this past weekend has been a weird one.
Friday I ended up babysitting till 1:30 in the morning.
Saturday was weirdest of all. It started out with me just sleeping in like normal, but when I woke up dad wasn't home, so in my sleepy state I thought maybe today wasn't saturday (thanks to summer I never really know what day it is). But what didn't help is when I went down stairs I asked mom "Where's dad" and she answers but really isn't listening "I don't know" which didn't help. So I ate breakfast and look at my phone and it was in deed Saturday. So I go ask Jay do you know where dad is, I mainly went to ask him because if he wasn't there that would mean there was some boy scout thing I didn't know about (which is normal). But low and behold Jay was home and he called dad and found out he had to go into work that morning for a while. Well my only real plans for the day were dropping Sarah off at a babysitting job and video chatting with Amy (which is always a highlight).

For those of you who don't know her Amy is my best friend for life from birth literally. Our moms have been friends for like 18-19 years now and Amy and I have been best friends since I was born.

Well I talked to Amy for 2 hours which is rare very rare but even in the moments when nether of us is talking because we are distracted I still LOVE it because its exactly what we would do in person and I miss her so much but never get to talk to her so being able to just have her in the corner of my screen and listening to her family talk I love it. Well we started talking at 3ish and finished at right around 5pm.
When I got off it was of corse dinner time and we got chinese (my 3rd favorite) which is rare. So I was excited. Right after we started dinner my phone rang and Ashley called to see if she could still come over. I said sure and she said I will be there after dinner. Well then Sarah needed a ride home from church, and since ashley lives across the street she offereed to pick her up and drive her here since she was coming over anyway. Well they get half way here I get a call from Sarah saying the battery in Ashley's car died. They said that Ashley's dad was coming to fix it. Well 20 mins later I go and save them. Well the whole reason Ashley was coming over was for us to try to make a projector for my iphone using a box and magnifying  and FYI it doesn't work with cheap magnifying glass and we aren't even sure it works with a good one either. But we did have fun going to the dollar store to get a bigger magnifying glass. While there we found out Halloween candy is already out and its only August 12th.  On the bright side my favorite lolly pops that only come out around Halloween were there :) When we got home we tried again to get it to work and it worked kind of it was just fuzzy. Well then Amy started texting me and we ended up video chatting her so she could "meet" Ashley :) So in the end I got to talk to Amy twice in one day :)
Then today (Sunday) I got to babysit two of my favorite kids, Caleb and Sydney. Those two kids crack me up so much. Caleb and I play a game called skylander, and what cracks me up about playing is he thinks the game is to hard for me even though I am 18 and he is 6. After babysitting them I went Slip and Sliding with my moms church, but it was no ordinary slip and slide it was HUGE and AWESOME. To be honest I was scared of going down at first but it turned out to be a lot of fun.
After slip and slide I dropped the kids off at their church functions then went to dinner with Kristen, she leaves for college on Friday :( After dinner we went to church to copy stuff off for Thursday. Then I just hung out at the church till Sarah was out of group.

All in all its been a fun yet weird weekend but that is how I like it :)
