My two cents
I am not a gay rights activist, but I don't hate people who are gay. I do my best not to judge people, because in the bible (which I believe to be the true written word of God) it says, Do not judge or you will be judged also. Someone told me when I was in 9th grade told me Love the person, HATE the sin. I will never believe that someone is born gay, it is a choice 100%. Anytime anywhere I will give you the same answer, and the same bible verse. Leviticus 18:22 “‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable. While some people are going to give me the argument that its in the old testament but that doesn't change a thing. I believe Dan Cathy did the right thing, in the wrong thing. While I completely agree with him, he owns a restaurant why is this such a big problem? It doesn't change the taste of the chicken or the fries. Its his opinion, while I agree with him, I know not everyone does and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, when you state said opinion people are going to disagree with it. I mean the only reason people are going on and on about this is because CNN asked him, and he owns chickfila. If someone had asked me or anyone else, like a random person on the street. No one would make this big a stink about it because I and most other people don't own chickfila or any other major corporation. We used to have this thing called freedom of speech and lately that has been taken away, if you are "someone of consequence" anything and everything you say will either be taken the wrong way or out of context. While I doubt anyone will really read this, but this is my two cents, and it probably doesn't even make much sense but I hate it when people take other peoples OPINIONS, which by the way can't be wrong and use them to make that person seem like they are a horrible person.

Dude, you're totally right but I still wish he would say something about all this stuff going on FB. I feel like there is a lot of hate going on via chicfila because of bullies even though his opinion was misconstrued. He is the president representing Christ and he should take care of it, especially since it seems like there is going to be a war on August 1. And people do care about your opinion, believe it or not, people watch and form their opinion of Christ based on how you treat others' opinions and if you bashed someone for being gay without saying your backup of how you believe you arent born into it then people are going to think Christians are poop. A lot of my friends at tech aren't/weren't big christians because of what they absorbed from observation, especially from wavering or cowardly Christians, so I am just afraid that will happen to the world because all the conservative baptists have taken tbeir soap boxes and started bashing all the gays thinking/acting like they have president chicfila to back them up. I wholeheartedly believe in sharing the gospel first through love and light, because 80% (other 10% is Christians and other 10% is Atheists) of the time, people ask me about God because they can tell I'm a Christian and they ask how they can get to that state of being free. That's my opinion and im assuming you asked for it since you posted this on my wall.
ReplyDeleteExactly. August 1st, is not going to be a good day. While I don't think in Warner Robins it will be a big problem, it will in other places. I hope people see Christ in me through my actions even though I'm not perfect. I also think hiding behind Dan Cathy is very cowardly, and he might just need to like release a video of himself talking on youtube or something or even Godtube.
