cookies

So today was fun :) I started it off kind of slow. Then the boys came home from school. We ate lunch. It was my and Angelo's favorite lunch which is carrots and green beans on rice. Then the little boys went to bed and Angelo and I played with Lucky. Apparently Lucky is "imprinted" on us more then his mother. He follows us around everywhere if he is down. Only problem his the other mothers don't like him and kind of try to attack him so he can only come down when they are either outside or on the other side of the yard. But he is so SO so SO cute. Unlike the others however he is tiny, like the size of a baby chicken. But it has been decided he is never leaving, he is officially a pet :). When Uncle Colin goes to get him from the nest he runs and jumps into his hand, prefers to eat from my hand. I hate birds but I love this one. I wish I could take him to America. So we did eventually have to put him back. Then the boys headed back to school then I sat around or talked to odile or went out side. Then I had a sudden urge to bake something. So I made sugar cookies :) Which made Pascaline extremely happy. 
She loves sweets and I love her face when I make them. But because I kind of started late in making them they were supposed to have gone home but they were stalling to get cookies.....Have to start earlier next time. But they were yummy. So after everyone but Odile had gone home I started cleaning up. Since I had made A TON. I gave Odile some to take home which as she said "I am very happy now". They are just sugar cookies but SO yummy. Its kind of sad though Odile leaves saturday night for college. So this is the last week I will see her. Then the boys came home and she left a little while after. Then right has dinner was finishing warming up. Power went out.....again. It makes dinner interesting cause I can not see what I am eating. 

So funny story of the day.

I have a hat I got for this trip. Its just a black $5 hat from Walmart. But I do wear it all the time due to not always washing my hair in the morning. Well apparently a few days ago I left it somewhere either in the living room or outside. So Lova picked it up and asked Kit to go bring it to me. Pascaline said, "wait first you have to wear it and maybe her luck will rub off on you." So apparently they all took turns wearing it lol. When Aunt Kim told me this I looked at her very confused because I am not a "lucky" person. But apparently to them I am a rich and prospering person. Which in Madagascar I am back home not so much. I will be flat broke when I get home. But it is a nice compliment. :)
